Home offices might become a permanent location for a lot of people whose companies decided to make the full transition after COVID-19 sent everyone home last year.
You may have adjusted to the work from home life, but after a full year- which no one expected, we’re betting you’re starting to feel restless. To help you through working from home, we consulted an expert that has thrived in isolation for centuries- the cat. This is what our expert had to say:
Tip One: Maintain a Meal Schedule
No matter how busy your day gets, make sure you eat three well balanced meals a day, with lots of snacks and treats in between.
Tip Two: Find a Cozy Spot and Make It Your Own
Whether you fancy a warm sunny beam by the window or an ergonomic chair in the office, settle in where you feel your best.
Tip Three: If You Feel You Aren’t Being Heard, Meow Louder
Missing all the face- to-face time with your colleagues, it can be harder to communicate. Schedule time for a call or video chat to make sure you stay connected.
Tip Four: Make Time to Play
You know what they say about all work and no play! Set a schedule and stick to it to ensure you take the time to step away from your computer and stretch, go for a walk or play with your pet.
Tip Five: Practice Self Care
Just because you’re not leaving the house doesn’t mean you should stay in your PJ’s all day. Make time for grooming so you can look and feel your best.
Tip Six: Make Sure You Catch Enough ZZZ’s
Cats can sleep up to 16 hours a day, and for good reason. Getting enough sleep is important for your overall health, well-being and happiness, so keep those laptops out of your bedroom and make sure you switch off at the end of the day.
